West Superior Street in Duluth has exploded in popularity in the last 5-10 years. We used to spend most of our time in Duluth along Canal Park but we now love exploring West Superior Street. In addition to the 5 food and drink places listed below, I’d also suggest checking out the Back Alley which has goods made by local makers, including my favorite Harmonic Goods!

1. Duluth Cider

Duluth Cider experiments with unique flavors which makes it one of the most fun places to visit (think Thin Mint and Arnie Palmer style ciders!). We sat outdoors at the spaced-out tables and ordered from a window into the main building. The coffee-flavored Las Lajas is one of the most popular.

2. Wild State Cider

Wild State has the most beautiful interior and great vibes overall. The raspberry hibiscus cider was my favorite but all the drinks we sampled were delicious. Make sure to order a warm soft pretzel to enjoy with your beverage!

One of the best BBQ joints I’ve ever eaten at, OMC BBQ does it right! I loved eating outside around the fire and highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich.

4. Love Creamery

Lizanne of Lizanne Lately inspired me to stop here (but it really doesn’t take much encouraging when it comes to ice cream!) and it seriously is amazing!  As a tea love, I highly recommend the London Fog flavor.

5. Ursa Minor Brewing

A really great atmosphere, Ursa Minor Brewing is a great place to relax and enjoy beer and snacks.  In the winter, there is even a fire with s’mores making kits and (in non-COVID times) a sauna!
