Beautiful Backyard Patio Transformation with Bachman’s

Since moving into our home, I’ve dreamed of turning an unused green space in our backyard into a beautiful area perfect for family nights and entertaining. After scouring the internet for transformation ideas, I originally thought we could DIY the project. Thankfully, I realized pretty quickly it was best left to the pros and learned my favorite home garden store, Bachman’s, also has a landscaping and garden services department. Initial Consult

My first meeting with design lead, Edith, was a video call so I could share more about our space and goals for the project. Edith did an amazing job listening to how I wanted to use our space and took that into consideration for the design. We also reviewed various Belgard paver options. I was amazed to learn that not only could they put down pavers for the space in mind but they could also jazz up an existing concrete slab with thin porcelain pavers to create one cohesive look. Working with Edith on our backyard patio transformation with Bachman’s opened up our eyes to so many more possibilities!

On site design visit

Next, Edith came out to our home for an on-site visit to measure the space properly. After this in-person visit, an initial design draft was provided. It was amazing to see the rendering start to bring the project to life. Although we had no edits, this is where homeowners can provide any thoughts back to be incorporated. I was blown away with how Edith took my initial vision for our backyard patio transformation with Bachman’s and made it so much better.

Part I Transformation

A team of three (somedays more, depending on other projects) worked for seven days to bring the design to life. Edith was there on the first day and checked in throughout the week in case the crew had questions. It was incredible to see how meticulous the crew was and how hard they worked. They take great pride in their landscaping services and it really shows in how the backyard patio was transformed. They also took time to answer my questions along the way.

Part II Transformation

Many home projects are done in phases (due to budget or time) which is exactly how our backyard project went. In Year 2, the Bachman’s team came back out to extend the mulch bed of our under-deck patio area, added pavers to the mulch bed and planted more greenery to create an even cozier, private feel. This work took about 2.5 days and the crew was great and efficient! They were also very adaptable when I asked if we could move one of the bushes, showing that modifications, within reason, can be made on site!

We are so thrilled with how the project turned out and are so grateful to the team at Bachman’s for enhancing the original vision and making our space a place we love to spend time as a family.
