6 Unique Igloo and Chalet Dinners in Minnesota – 2025

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in the Twin Cities Minnesota! While there are so many unique igloo and chalet dinners in Minnesota popping up, I’ve narrowed it down for you to 6 amazing options across the state (including one just across the border in Wisconsin). Dukes on 7 – reservations available Nov 17 onwards

Minnetonka

Duke’s on 7 has fun igloo huts with heaters so they are a great option all winter long! A $50 deposit holds your space and is applied to the minimum ($150 mornings, $250 evenings). Add on a fun cheese or chocolate board, thermos drinks or dessert board (all are great!). Reserve your igloo here.

Grand View Lodge – open now!

Nisswa

Grand View Lodge is one of the most magical winter getaways in Minnesota and their igloos add to the festiveness. Located at their on site restaurant On The Rocks, the igloos come with heaters so are warm. Each igloo is reserved for 2 hours for up to 6 people. Rental fee is $50 Sunday-Thursday and $75 Friday-Saturday. Make your reservation here.

Pier 500 – open now!

Hudson WI

Okay technically this isn’t Minnesota but it’s right across the border so I had to include it as a bonus option. Pier 500 has igloos set up on their outdoor patio which has views of the river. Both small (up to 4 people) and large (up to 8 people) igloos are available to reserve with the reservation fee going towards the minimum ($100 for small, $200 for large). Minimums are waived for lunch before 4pm so go early if you’d like to spend less! Reserve your igloo here.

Four Seasons – open now!

Minneapolis

Nordic Village at Four Seasons Minneapolis is a magical experience under the city lights. Reserve a chalet for 2-8 people and enjoy a 4-course menu with fondue, a smörgåsbord, a choice of entree and house made s’mores. Prices are $175 per adult and $80 per child. Make your reservation here.

Westin Galleria – opens Dec 3

Edina

The Westin Galleria has a magical chalet set up in their courtyard and I love attending dinners there each winter. From Clicquot dinners to other speciality dinners, check out all the options here.

Lock and Dam Eatery – opens Nov 22

Hastings

Hastings is a fun day trip and a stop at Lock and Dam should be on your list! Their heated igloos accommodate 2-8 guests and reservations are for 2 hours. There is a minimum of $150 with a $25 maintenance fee and $30 deposit. Reserve your igloo here.
