An Epic Loft Transformation with Room & Board

With the arrival of our son this year, we transformed our guest room into a nursery but still needed a guest space. We decided our loft could become a family room / guest room hybrid and knew Room & Board would be the best to help. Since we have young kids, we wanted the room to feel playful but also sophisticated for when family and friends come to stay. We worked with Room & Board designer Heather, who also helped us design our home office, at the Edina location and had another amazing experience. I love that Room & Board’s designers are incredibly talented, don’t require additional payment to work with and are not paid on commission.
After sharing our vision for the loft transformation with Heather, we met in person where we went back and forth on design ideas. We also walked the floor together to find pieces and fabrics for the space. She leveraged a 3D program so I could better visualize everything which helped tremendously.
